"Dallys Ynot Spirit Chaser", (over) Mature Stallion

won country pleasure driving with Kathy Miller at the Whip ...great job Kathy!

and oh yes i can't forget the Liberty Class

Someone said Jeanne had been in something like over 30 classes today she was really tired especially when there was hardly anyone at the show to help get the horses ready. Kathy and Lauren Cummings did the most getting the horses preped for the classes. (I don't know what we would have done without them!) Danny DeBruce just had a tumor removed from the back of his neck. Mike Lasley just had Knee replacement surgery and Kathy was home caring for him. Wendy Anderson and Lynell Darnall were getting ready to move to a bigger ranch here in town. But adrenaline and a never dying love for showing pervailed and Jeanne decided to go ahead and show Liberty. (I could have mailed that one in! ;-)   A few newer people in our group actually Bing, Sandy and Lynell had never seen Jeanne do her magic in a Liberty class. So Lynell entered Dallys Ynot Spirit Chaser and Samis Time to Rumble in the very last class of a very long day of showing. Well, when it was over and the smoked cleared pilgram..Rumble won it and Spirit took 2nd. it was very impressive especially with Rumble doing his floating act and Spirit slide stopping on command right in front of Jeanne!! WOW if you weren't there you really missed out!

    4/21/2008

Here's how DeBruce Ranch and clients did in the 2nd. PCMHC show at Riverside Rancheros, Riverside, Ca.

"DeBruces Top Gun" ("Gunner") owned by: DeBruce Ranch won his height class and jr. stallion (under) then one res. and one Grand Champion Stallion....again! Wow what a guy.

"Currys Man in Command" ("Commander") owned by: DeBruce Ranch

2 seconds in jr. Stallion (over) in one of the largest classes of the day. (When he matures he'll be much more competitive, he's such a lankie yankee right now!)

Trick won 2 blues in his height (over) Champ. and Grand Champion.

3/16/2008  MORENO ARENA, INGALS PARK, NORCO, CA.

The first show of the 08' season, how exciting. We had a nice turnout. The parking lot was packed with horse trailers and campers, tents for shade and small corrals for the horses. It was nice seeing families, parents and kids working together getting their horses ready to show.

The show management was fantastic i'm always amazed at how they can keep all that paperwork straight, my hats off to Gina Russell, Nance Franks and everyone else i'm sorry i don't know their names but please know your appreciated for doing such a great job. Also congrats to all the contestants at the show, the quality of horses seem to improve every single year. The judges were very consistent with their choices!

DeBruce Ranch has a real nice string of show horses this year. note: small miniatures are "A" division (34" and under and larger miniatures are, "B" division (34"- 38")

So far all our horses are in good health and injury free thank God. And on that note Thankfully DeBruce Ranch is off to a good start.

    DeBruces Top Gun 31 1/2"

First born yearling son of, Michigan's Majestic NF, (shetland-amha miniature horse cross) won 1 place in his height class "A" division, by both judges, then won Jr. Champion by both judges, then won Grand Champion Stallion by one of the judges. (young colts seldom win over mature stallions unless they're really exceptional!) Keep an eye on this little guy! ;)
